How Hybrid is made

Three layers all the way through: steel on the outside that works on every hob, and an aluminium core that spreads heat quickly and evenly. Inside, a fine steel pattern with ceramic non-stick in between. The steel takes the knocks from the spatula, and food lets go.

Ein Meisterstück für jede Küche – meine neue Lieblingspfanne in XL!

Ich habe schon viele Pfannen besessen, aber die ONYX COOKWARE™ Hybride Antihaft Bratpfanne in 32 cm setzt für mich neue Maßstäbe. Schon beim ersten Anfassen merkt man: Hier steckt Qualität drin. Der Materialmix aus Aluminium und magnetischem Edelstahl wirkt extrem robust, liegt sicher in der Hand und sieht dabei noch edel aus.

Brat- und Kochergebnisse:
Die Pfanne erhitzt sich dank Aluminiumkern blitzschnell und verteilt die Wärme absolut gleichmäßig – selbst bei dieser großen Fläche. Die Edelstahl-Wabenstruktur in Kombination mit der keramischen Antihaftbeschichtung sorgt dafür, dass nichts anhaftet, selbst bei minimalem Öl. Steaks bekommen eine perfekte Kruste, Gemüse bleibt knackig, und auch empfindliche Speisen wie Fisch oder Omelett gelingen mühelos.

Vielseitigkeit & Alltagstauglichkeit:
Mit 32 cm Durchmesser ist sie ideal für große Portionen, Familienessen oder wenn Gäste kommen. Sie funktioniert auf allen Herdarten – Gas, Induktion, Ceran – und ist sogar backofenfest bis 260 °C. Das eröffnet viele Möglichkeiten, vom Anbraten auf dem Herd bis zum Fertiggaren im Ofen.

Reinigung & Langlebigkeit:
Die kratzfeste Beschichtung hält auch Metallbesteck stand. Nach dem Kochen reicht oft ein feuchtes Tuch, um sie sauber zu bekommen – und wenn’s mal schneller gehen muss, darf sie problemlos in die Spülmaschine. Auch nach häufigem Einsatz sieht sie aus wie neu.

Gute Pfanne

Die Pfanne ist super und heizt sehr schnell auf. Der Rand dürfte gerne etwas höher sein und es ist schade, dass man zb. keine Eier oder Pancakes darin braten kann, da diese kleben. Gemüse, Fleisch etc. lassen sich jedoch ohne kleben sehr gut braten.

Does it come with a lid?

No, the pans and pots are sold without lids, so you only buy what you need. Choose a lid in the same size: a 26 cm pan or pot fits our 26 cm glass lid. You'll find the lids among the accessories.

Can it go in the oven?

Yes, Hybrid pans and pots are oven-safe up to 260 °C. Brown the meat on the hob and let the dish finish in the oven in the same pan or pot. The handle gets hot in there, so use a pot holder or oven glove.

Will it work on my hob?

Yes. It works on induction, gas, electric and ceramic hobs. The outer layer is magnetic steel, and the aluminium core spreads the heat evenly across the base.

Can I use metal utensils?

Yes, an ordinary metal spatula or spoon is fine. The steel pattern in the surface takes the contact and protects the ceramic coating. Just avoid sharp things like knives, as they can scratch.

Do I need to use oil?

You don't have to. Preheat for a few minutes on low to medium before the food goes in. Hybrid holds heat well, so turn it a little lower than you usually would. If you want butter or oil for flavour, add it once the surface is hot.

Which size should I choose?

20 cm suits one person and small portions. 24 and 26 cm are for small to medium portions, 28 and 30 cm for big ones, and 32 cm is for the whole family. Sizes are measured across the top inside edge, so the base is a little smaller.
